Private Charter Information

Thank you for your interest in Dutch Apple Cruises. Our goal is to provide an entertaining and memorable Cruise for your group on one of America's most historic and scenic waterways, The Hudson.

The “DUTCH APPLE II” is a modern vessel with a capacity of 150 people. The middle deck area is enclosed, offering a full bar, tables, and of course a dance floor where our entertainment is performed. The upper deck is open and has tables and chairs. The lower deck is fully enclosed with two restrooms, buffet area, and seating for seventy people. The two fully enclosed decks are equipped with air-conditioning and heat.

Catering 

The Dutch Apple is catered by Nicole’s catering in Albany. Pricing varies according to menu selections. You may provide your own catering firm if you wish. Caterers shall provide all amenities required. (Extra charges also apply if staff is needed to serve your guests with private caterers.) Beverages are not allowed to be brought on board.

Entertainment

Our bands or D.J. services have a wide variety of music available, and are compatible with the vessel. Our DJ services vary in price from $300.00 to $700.00 dollars, depending upon the occasion and the duration of the cruise.

Bar

We have a Cash bar, where all guests pay per drink on their own, which is always available. Tab Bar; where a dollar amount is established and 18% service charge 8% NYS sales tax is added to the final bill. We have a few Open Bar packages available as well. Open Bar selection is your preference, also an 18% service charge 8% sales tax is added to open bar.

Decorations

You are invited to decorate the boat to fit your theme, and commercial services are always welcome, we suggest flowers, balloons and/or streamers. Make sure to allow additional time for you to set-up.  No flamed candles, confetti/glitter permitted.  You may join any cruise as a group, but to obtain sole use of the vessel you must charter the vessel. If you wish use of the vessel only, the following rates apply:

Charter Rates

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday $1150.00, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is $1550.00.  All charter cruises after 9pm (regardless of the day of the week) are $1750.00, and Weddings are $2000. Each additional hour cruising will be $450.00, additional hour dockside is $350.00. The charter rate includes Captain, necessary crew, cruise time and set up for a 3 hour time period of your choice.
