We offer cruises North up the Hudson, through the Troy Federal Lock or South down the Hudson, to the sleepy village of Castleton-on-Hudson.
Both trips are steeped with history and interesting sights. As always, a science instructor and Hudson River historian, who has proficient knowledge regarding the ecology of the Hudson River will accompany your group.
Your group will learn about every aspect of the Hudson, from the history of the Dutch settlement, to the ecology and the infiltration of exotic species like the zebra mussel, to the pollution and constant rehabilitation that the river undergoes.

Students will become a part of Henry Hudson's crew and will work together to complete Henry's harrowing journey.
The river cruise will include a guided tour and hands on nautical themed learning stations related to the Half Moon's 1609 expedition. Available for Grades K-12.
Please note that cruise duration for joint program is only 45-60 minutes.
ACCVB Program runs mid April - October.
